James is not just a candidate — he is a son of the Bronx, a man molded by its spirit, its struggle, and its strength. A natural-born leader. A voice of reason and resilience. While new to politics, he is no stranger to the people, the neighborhoods, and the heartbeat of our community.
Beyond his political aspirations, James is a man of many callings — an environmentalist who fights for a cleaner, safer Bronx; a photographer who captures the soul of our city; an entrepreneur who builds opportunity; and a chaplain who offers hope where it’s needed most.
For over a decade, I have had the privilege of working alongside James — side by side — serving our veterans, empowering our youth, and fighting to expand resources across the Bronx. His dedication has never wavered. His character has never faltered.
Last year, when others might have sought the spotlight, James made a different choice. He paused his own campaign to stand behind a candidate he believed was better prepared at the time — a rare act of humility and strategy in a world that too often rewards ego over service. Instead of rushing ahead, he took that time to learn, to listen, and to prepare — sharpening his vision and building the foundation for a campaign rooted in strength, knowledge, and purpose.
This year, James has stood on the front lines — rain or shine, through cold winds and scorching heat — protesting against policies that threaten our neighborhoods, from reckless “City of Yes” zoning overreach to dangerous lithium-ion battery plans. He has fought for safety, accountability, and a better Bronx — all while continuing to serve veterans, guide young people, and care for his family.
Now, as the proud District Leader of the 83rd Assembly District for more than two years — soon to be re-elected this November — James is ready to bring that same energy, integrity, and unbreakable dedication to City Hall.
