On August 2, 2025, Gonzalo Duran, candidate for New York City Public Advocate and Vice Chairman of the Bronx Conservative Party, hosted a press conference to take a firm stand against the rising tide of socialism in the Bronx.

In a bold and united front, Duran was joined by the Bronx Conservative Party, the New York Young Republican Club Bronx Caucus, and the United Alliance Party to deliver a clear message: Socialism has no place in the future of the Bronx—or New York City.

This event brought together community leaders, advocates, and concerned citizens who believe in defending the American Dream, individual liberty, and accountable governance.
