Curtis Sliwa is the reason I entered politics. He represents the very essence of what a public servant should be—fearless, tireless, and wholly dedicated to the people he serves. In this election, I believe he stands as the hardest-working candidate in New York City, a man who shows up when others hesitate and speaks truth when others stay silent.
Last year, when no one in the Bronx Conservative Party wanted to officially step forward to run for office, I saw firsthand how difficult public life can be. To put your name on the ballot in a city like New York—where the odds are stacked against conservatives—is not for the faint of heart. It’s a life of sacrifice, of long hours, and of constant criticism, often without compensation or recognition. Yet that is exactly the life Curtis Sliwa has chosen, again and again, because he believes in service above self.

When I decided to run for Mayor on the Conservative Party line, I faced resistance from within my own ranks. Many wanted to run, but few were willing to take the public heat. And while I was the lone conservative actively working to strengthen the party, I received little help from its leadership. But I pressed on, because the cause was greater than the comfort.
That persistence led me to an opportunity I never expected. During interviews with the Bronx Republican Party, Chairman Mike Rendino encouraged me to interview for the Public Advocate position. By the end of that meeting, Curtis Sliwa himself gave me his endorsement—a gesture that sparked a wave of support from the Bronx GOP, the Bronx Conservative Party, and soon after, both organizations citywide. It was the moment the movement truly came alive.

What followed was months of relentless organizing—petitioning candidates, filing paperwork, and building bridges across party lines. It wasn’t easy. Different personalities, different boroughs, different challenges—but we did it. This year, we have over 40 Conservative and Republican candidates running against incumbents across New York City, many inspired and supported by Curtis Sliwa’s leadership.
From canvassing neighborhoods to hosting forums, from grassroots fundraisers to citywide rallies, Curtis has been at the heart of it all. His support has never wavered, and I’ve done my best to match his energy—keeping our team motivated, focused, and unified. Because in politics, as in life, unity is power.

I don’t care what the polls say or what the pundits predict. I’m voting for the people who stand for something real—those with integrity, grit, and heart. Curtis Sliwa embodies all of that. It’s disappointing to see how some party insiders and so-called allies have done little to help him, while grassroots supporters and everyday New Yorkers have carried this campaign forward. But that’s the story of every true movement—it begins with the people.
So, let me be perfectly clear: my endorsement and my vote are one and the same.
Here’s how I’ll be casting my ballot:

- Mayor – Curtis Sliwa
- Public Advocate – Gonzalo Duran
- Comptroller – Peter Kefalas
For Mayor, I will be voting for Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa, and for the rest, I’m proud to cast my vote for Conservatives across the board. I’m just fortunate that everyone I’m supporting this year has also earned the Republican line, which makes it an even stronger statement of unity and shared purpose.

This election isn’t just about politics—it’s about courage, conviction, and community. Curtis Sliwa represents all three. That’s why I’m proud to stand with him, and why I hope you will too.
