Bronx County Conservative Party
District Leader 81st Assembly District
Candidate for State Assembly 81st Assembly District
As the nation gears up for the upcoming Presidential elections later this year, the Bronx, as always, remains a pivotal battleground. Amidst the buzz of political fervor and anticipation, we took to the streets to hear directly from Bronxites about their voting intentions. We asked locals a straightforward yet consequential question: Who do they plan to vote for, former President Donald Trump or President Joe Biden, and more importantly, why?
I will be voting for former President Donald J. Trump based on his track record. He’s the only President in my lifetime who did not start a new war. President Trump played a major role in the Abraham Accords treaty, which normalized relations between the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Israel.
On the economy, he signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the largest tax reform package in history. This act doubled the standard deduction, making the first $24,000 earned by a married couple completely tax-free, and doubled the child tax credit. He also virtually eliminated the unfair Estate Tax, or Death Tax. The Trump administration created nearly 9,000 Opportunity Zones, where capital gains on long-term investments are taxed at zero. These zones have increased property values within them by 1.1 percent, creating an estimated $11 billion in wealth for the nearly half of Opportunity Zone residents who own their own home.
President Trump fought for the American people with the formation of the USMCA and stood up against China with the Phase One trade agreement. The Trump Administration negotiated deals with the EU and WTO, always standing for strong border security. This contrasts with the Biden administration’s open border policies, which are destroying many great American cities. President Trump has always stood for law and order policies, a strong contrast to the Democratic party’s pro-crime legislation.
As a first-generation American and father of four, I love our Constitutional Republic, and I fear that the Democratic party will destroy our great nation, just like they have destroyed New York State and NYC. That’s why I will be voting for President Trump this November.
