On July 31, 2025 Gonzalo Duran, Vice Chairman of the Bronx Conservative Party and candidate for New York City Public Advocate, proudly presented a formal Proclamation of Service to Marisol Duran in recognition of her unwavering commitment to the Bronx and its residents.
Marisol Duran is a pillar of leadership and service. As a public defender, a board member of her local police precinct, and a dedicated community volunteer, she has long exemplified the spirit of public service that uplifts neighborhoods and empowers families. Now, as she steps forward to run for City Council in the upcoming election cycle, she continues to embody the very values that the Bronx Conservative Party proudly upholds: civic responsibility, public safety, community engagement, and integrity.
“Marisol represents what is best in our borough—compassionate leadership, tireless advocacy, and a deep sense of purpose,” said Gonzalo Duran during the proclamation ceremony. “She is a voice for justice, a steward of public safety, and a champion for her community.”
