Biden’s Presidency: Was A Hidden Advantage for Conservatives

For months, and some would say even longer, the political sphere has buzzed with the notion that President Joe Biden might not be the best candidate for the Democratic Party. However, he appears to be the best candidate for the Republican and Conservative parties. Recent developments have only intensified this belief, shaking the political landscape as the 2024 elections approach.

The assassination attempt on former President Trump, as unfortunate as it sounds, has seemingly increased his popularity. The continuous attacks from the Democratic Party on Trump have only fueled his ever-growing base of supporters. Those who were on the fence or quietly supportive are now more vocal. For instance, Trump announced Elon Musk’s $45 million a month contribution to his campaign, showcasing the financial power behind his candidacy.

A critical factor now is Vice President Harris’s position on Biden’s ticket. Financially, a portion of the hundreds of millions of dollars in campaign funds could potentially be transferred to Harris if she takes over as the Presidential nominee. However, if Democrats opt for a different candidate, reallocating these funds could become more complex.

Moreover, the delegates who have thrown their support behind Biden are not just investing in his policies but also in his leadership. Should a new nominee emerge, it remains uncertain whether these supporters will stay loyal or shift their allegiance.

After the recent presidential debate, many speculated that Biden would eventually step down; the assassination attempt only expedited this process. Personally, I believe that Biden staying in the race would have guaranteed a Republican and Conservative victory. Nonetheless, Trump’s support is at an all-time high, and his chances for a win are greater than ever. This move from the Democratic Party reflects the current political dynamics.

As we wait for the Democratic Party to choose their new candidate, which I assume Biden will address later this week when he addresses the nation, Republicans and Conservatives will be watching closely with enthusiasm. The stakes are high, and their decision will have a ripple effect on how both parties proceed.
