A few weeks ago, I had the honor of speaking at a fundraiser for my friend and colleague, Jason Murillo — a man who has become the backbone of my vision for revitalizing Manhattan conservatism.
Jason may not fit the traditional mold of a polished political insider, but make no mistake — he has surpassed nearly everyone in dedication, results, and heart. Over the past two years, we’ve worked side by side, building what many thought impossible: a genuine conservative movement in Manhattan.
From day one, I’ve watched Jason grow — from a volunteer with passion to a leader with purpose. Together, we built his campaign infrastructure from the ground up: developing databases, registering new conservative voters, and laying the foundation for long-term political strength. I guided him through the process — from securing his first fifty registration cards to preparing him for candidacy, and one day, I believe, for leadership in public office.
But passion alone isn’t enough in today’s political landscape — you need data, community, and credibility. Jason delivered on all three. He analyzed election results, listened to community voices, engaged the media, and strategically built a coalition around conservative values.
This year, Jason earned both the Conservative Party and Republican Party ballot lines — a rare achievement in Manhattan politics. Even more impressive, he surpassed the threshold for public matching funds — something no other Conservative candidate has achieved in this election cycle, and not since the last one two years ago.
I couldn’t be prouder of what Jason has accomplished, not just for himself, but for the future of our movement. What we are building in Manhattan is more than a campaign — it’s the groundwork for a new era of conservative leadership across New York City.
To those reading this, I encourage you to listen to my words of admiration for Jason Murillo. If you believe in dedication, integrity, and the fight for a better city — I ask you, from the heart, to support his campaign in any way you can. Every contribution helps fuel a movement that stands for principle, perseverance, and the people.
