Gonzalo Duran Contribute Video

Gonzalo Duran statement in his contribute video:

“Hello, my name is Gonzalo Duran and I’m running for public advocate of New York City because I refuse to stand by and watch our city continue to decline.

I was born and raised in the Bronx, except for the years I proudly served as a United States Marine Sergeant in Iraq. I’ve spent over a decade as a CEO of a nonprofit fighting for our community.

Now I’m ready to take that fight to City Hall because leadership is not about talk. It’s about action.

We all see the problems, rising crime, failing schools, unaffordable living, and career politicians more focused on power than people. The system is broken. Those in power refuse to fix it. I refuse to accept that.

As public advocate, I will be a watchdog for the people. I will expose corruption, hold government accountable, and push for real solutions to make our city safer, stronger and more affordable.

This election is about choice. Continue with failed leadership or stand up and demand better.

We need bold, common sense leadership that puts New Yorkers first, not special interests. I am not running to play politics. I am running to fight for you, for working families, small businesses, veterans, and everyone who’s been forgotten by the system.

Let’s take back our city and build a future that works for all of us.

I’m Gonzalo Duran. Join me, let’s make real change happen.

Thank you. God bless you and God bless America.”

This statement, paired with my recent interview on Spectrum News 1 for New York City Public Advocate, provides a clear overview of my background, values, and platform for real change. I hope you these will help you in your decision to contribute to my campaign for my election for New York City PublicAdovcate.
