“The Bronx Conservative Party congratulates Republican candidate and Conservative Party endorsed nominee Shery Olivo on her victory to remain on the Republican Party ballot. This follows a failed challenge from the Bronx Republican Party and confirms the will of the voters,” said Bronx Conservative Party Chairman Patrick McManus.
It is unacceptable for a party to spend time and resources attacking one of its own, especially through baseless claims and the use of a paper candidate. The voters deserve better. We call for an immediate end to any further appeals that only divide and delay.
Now is the moment for unity.
We call on all Bronxites, especially those in the 86th Assembly District, to stand with Shery Olivo and move this campaign forward. The issues facing our community demand attention, not infighting.
A party is meant to help candidates run for office. Now let us focus on that. Enough time has been wasted.
