As Vice Chairman of the Bronx Conservative Party, my goal is simple: to provide leadership to the Executive Board, District Leaders, and party members.
I joined the Bronx Conservative Party in early 2023 after leaving the Democratic Party. While I attended a few meetings, I found that the direction and policy priorities of the Bronx Democratic Party did not align with my own. I often disagreed with decisions that, in my view, focused on rewarding negative outcomes or favoring a small minority rather than making the difficult decisions necessary to support the broader community.
Before joining the Conservative Party, I made a genuine effort to connect with other political organizations. However, I either did not receive responses or found that they did not share my vision.
When I attended my first meeting with the Bronx Conservative Party, I made my intentions clear. While there was initial skepticism about my goals, including expanding membership, increasing media visibility, and strengthening community engagement, it did not take long to demonstrate that I was committed to delivering results.
Within three months of joining, I was appointed District Leader for the 79th Assembly District. Three months later, I was elected Vice Chairman of the Party, and I was recently re-elected to continue serving in that role. By that time, I had followed through on the commitments I made.
Since then, the party structure has grown significantly, increasing from roughly 20% filled to over 85%. While we are a smaller organization and full saturation is difficult, we have successfully filled nearly all District Leader positions and strengthened participation across both state and county roles.
In my first year alone, I registered over 100 new Conservative voters and have continued that effort annually. Combined with the work of other members, this has contributed to an approximate 20% increase in party enrollment boroughwide. While natural attrition, such as relocation or demographic changes, limits long term growth, the upward trend remains significant.
This growth is critical because an active party is essential to recruiting viable candidates. Before my involvement, the Bronx Conservative Party typically saw only two to three candidates run for office each cycle. Today, we are approaching double digits, with over 10 candidates in recent election cycles. Notably, these are Conservative Party members running on our line, and the Bronx now has more Conservative Party candidates running for legislative office than all other counties combined.
The party’s visibility has also expanded significantly. Through coordinated press conferences, events, and outreach efforts, we have increased engagement across the Bronx, not only in traditionally easier areas such as the North Bronx, but also in the South Bronx. These efforts have created an environment that brings together Conservative Party members, Republicans, and unaffiliated individuals in a space focused on open dialogue and participation.
As Vice Chairman of the Bronx Conservative Party, my mission remains focused: to work with the Executive Board to increase voter registration, maintain active District Leaders, support fundraising efforts, expand community engagement, recruit candidates for legislative office, and uphold the core values of the party.
