Shery Olivo will be on tomorrow’s Republican primary ballot, and I hope you take the opportunity to vote for her.
I was fortunate to meet Shery last year during my campaign for Public Advocate of New York City. I first saw her supporting our Republican slate of candidates, which included myself, Curtis Sliwa, and Peter Kafalas.
This year, I had the opportunity to help her canvass for signatures to secure the Conservative Party line, attend speaking forums with her, and observe her involvement in community activities throughout the district.
My fellow Conservative Party members and I believe she has what it takes to serve in the State Assembly and make the changes we need. She has what it takes to speak for the values we hold dear, and I believe her personal convictions, combined with the hardships she has overcome, will help drive her efforts to improve both the district and New York as a whole.
Recently, I have been walking with Shery throughout the district as she reminds fellow Republicans to vote in the upcoming primary. Many residents were happy to see a Republican candidate personally knocking on their doors and engaging with them directly.
I also had the opportunity to speak at the Dominican American Republican Club event that was held in support of her Assembly campaign. It was incredible to see the support she has built within her district and the number of constituents rallying behind her. With the momentum she is building, I have no doubt that her support will continue to grow.

If you are a registered Republican living in the 86th Assembly District, I encourage you to make your way to the polls and cast your vote.
I am also happy to announce that regardless of the outcome of the Republican primary, Shery Olivo will remain on the Conservative Party line in the general election on November 3rd.
