Thank you for your interest in seeking my endorsement. It is not something I offer lightly, and it is not something that should ever be treated as routine. An endorsement carries weight. It reflects trust, judgment, and a belief that a candidate is prepared to serve with purpose and responsibility.
In today’s political environment, endorsements are often exchanged quickly or expected as part of the process. I take a different approach. Support must be earned through clarity, consistency, and a demonstrated record of service. It requires more than messaging. It requires discipline, accountability, and an understanding of the responsibility that comes with public office.
To maintain that standard, candidates requesting my endorsement are required to complete a structured questionnaire. This is not simply a review of policy positions. It is an evaluation of leadership, character, and decision-making. The goal is to understand how a candidate thinks, how they lead, and how they intend to represent their community.
As part of this process, candidates must answer nine questions, submit a professional headshot, and acknowledge two required confirmations. Thorough responses are expected. The depth and quality of each submission directly impact the review.
Timing and alignment also matter. Candidates who are not members of the Conservative Party, or who have not yet secured its support, should be aware that endorsements and publication may be issued in accordance with the election calendar and petitioning process.
In addition, I serve as a leader within the United Alliance Party, an independent nominating organization active across New York State. Its work operates separately from major parties and may overlap within districts.
The process begins with the questionnaire. It is an opportunity to present not just your positions, but your leadership.
Endorsements are built on trust, service, and shared responsibility.
